Smith's Art at SSU
Kylee Smith's art piece "Widow" was chosen to be displayed in the Visually Literate Art Show at Shawnee State University. The show was held at the Appleton Gallery with the closing reception and awards presentation May 16th. Millionaire Readers Recognized
Fourth-grader Mya Erwin and fifth-grader Boone Nelson were recognized at the April 2023 meeting of the Board of Education as millionaire readers, having read one million words in AR. Pictured (L-R) are Mya, OHES Principal Rebekah Potter, and Boone.
Lodwick Creates Portrait
The Memory Project has high school students and teachers create portraits for children around the world who have faced substantial challenges. It is thought to be a way to promote intercultural understanding and kindness around the world. This year the portraits have been sent to Nigeria. This is Brianna Lodwick's second year participating in this project. The Memory Project was recognized during the closing reception at The Visually Literate Show at Shawnee State's Appleton Gallery on May 16th. Our school district is currently using Freedom Café in our food service operation to keep track of deposits and items sold to your child’s account along with other great features! Freedom Café includes a mobile app, My Freedom Café, that can be used to ensure that you are always connected to your child’s school even if you are too busy to open the app.

The Oak Hill Union Local School District is pleased to introduce a new program called e~Funds for Schools. This program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make payments online and is extremely user friendly.
