Business Day Winners
Two teams from Oak Hill High School placed in the Annual University of Rio Grande Business Day competition. Teams prepare entrepreneurial business plans to present. Schools from Wellston, South Gallia, River Valley, and Green High School also competed.

BPA Students Recognized
At the October meeting of the Oak Hill Board of Education, Kenton Michael and Maxine Carter were recognized for representing Oak Hill High School at the BPA Region 2 Fall Conference at Rio Grande. Runners Earn SOC Honors
Congratulations to the following cross country runners on earning All-league honors at the SOC Championship Meet. In the boys' varsity race, Walker Fowble earned SOC II Runner of the Year and 1st Team All-SOC Award. Caleb Chambers and Kenton Michael also earned 2nd Team All-SOC Awards. In the girls' varsity race, Addy Brown earned 1st Team All-SOC Award. October 2023
Team Meets Olympian

Smittle Selected for Choir
At the September meeting of the Oak Hill Board of Education, OHHS junior Maggie Smittle (L) was recognized for being selected for the All-State Choir as a Soprano 1. She is the first Oak Hill student to make it into the prestigious All-State Choir and to be accepted into an All-State Ensemble. Based on her Class A Solo performance and vocal warmups, Maggie was selected from 1,200 student applicants in grades 9-12. In February 2024, she will perform in a 155-member choir at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) convention. Also pictured (R) is Choral Director Brittany Koogle. September 2023
Homecoming 2023
Mason Davis was crowned 2023 Homecoming King and Emma Davis was crowned Homecoming Queen during pregame of the football game on September 15th.
The Homecoming Court was selected by OHHS students. Queen candidates were Savannah Stickley, Lynzee Kisor, and Emma Davis. Court attendants were Elizabeth Wolford, Hailee Allen, Brinlee Harden, Grace Hughes, Madi Donley, and Lexi Davis. King candidates were Max Gentry, Mason Davis, and Eli Faye.
OVB Sponsors Walking Oaks
For second year in a row, The Ohio Valley Banking Company is sponsoring the Oak Hill Elementary Walking Oaks Club, a club for students in grades 3-5 that rewards members with incentives for walking at recess and at home.
