Emma Tyler AJ MichaelEmma Jordan, Tyler Canter, AJ Meldick, and Michael Hays attended the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Columbus, Ohio along with their teacher Tammy Roush. Close to 1,700 students competed at this year's SLC.

These four Information Technology students competed earlier this year at the BPA Region 2 competition. In order to move on to the state level the students must place either first or second in their contest. Emma placed in Digital Publishing, Tyler's contest was Advanced Spreadsheet, and both AJ and Michael placed in the Java contest.

Business Professionals of America is the leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.

BPA has 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states. BPA is a co-curricular organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.
