OHES Receives Dixon Grant

J Floyd Dixon15Oak Hill Elementary is happy to announce that it is a recipient of a J. Floyd Dixon Memorial Fund of Community Foundations, Inc. grant for 2015-2016 to support technology enhancements in the gymnasium. The Dixon Fund awards grants to non-profit organizations located in Jackson County that are focused primarily on education and health issues. OHES Awarded CCLC Grant

Oak Hill Elementary is excited to announce that we have been awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Grant for the 2015-2016 OAKS After School program. Through this opportunity, the OAKS program will support high-quality, out-of-school time learning opportunities and related activities for students. OHES will be working in conjunction with the Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center to provide this opportunity to our students. The program will be starting in October and more specific information will be forthcoming.

Students Recognized by BOE

Several Oak Hill Elementary students were recognized at the May 2015 meeting of the Board of Education for various achievements.
