Both the Active Acorns Black and White Stripe Teams welcomed special guest Carina Dickens of the OSU Extension Center at their December meetings. Carina spoke to the students about healthy foods using the "My Plate" nutritional information program and also had the students do team-building exercises. The students enjoyed her presentation very much and learned ways to include healthier foods in their daily diets.
