Pink for Pam Day

On Wednesday April 24, the staff of Oak Hill Elementary had a "Pink for Pam Day" to show support for their co-worker and friend Pam Ramsey as she battles cancer. A photo was taken and presented to Pam to commemorate her special day.
FFA Banquet
The Oak Hill FFA chapter held their annual FFA banquet on Sunday April 21, 2013. This year our banquet speaker was Buckeye Man, who is a retired FFA teacher and local legend on the campus of The Ohio State University. He educated members and guests on the importance of succeeding and how to take pride in whatever it is you do. Throughout the evening countless awards were handed out to FFA members. Mr. Aaron Michael (center) was recognized March 5th at the OSBA Regional Meeting at the Scioto County CTC for 10 years of service on the Oak Hill Union Board of Education.
Important News from the Superintendent
As we are all aware, School Security has been a “Front Page” issue in the media these past several months, with recent shootings and violence occurring in different parts of the country. Though many of these incidents seem to be unpreventable, it should not prevent us, as a District and Community, from taking additional measures to ensure a safe learning environment for our children.
