2012 Honor Graduates
Mr. Doug Hale, Principal of Oak Hill High School, has announced the honor graduates for the Class of 2012. The valedictorians of this year’s graduating class are Ms. Breanna Butler, Ms. Lakin Caudill, Mr. Dirk Dempsey, Ms. Taylor Hale, Ms. Jessica Taylor, and Ms. Heather Wells. The salutatorian is Ms. Rachael Arrowood.
Oak Hill Seniors graduated on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 7pm in the high school gymnasium. The commencement speaker was Mr. Tim Williams.
Ms. Breanna Butler is the daughter of Danny and Rhonda Butler. Her school activities are National Honor Society, High Q, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Cross Country. Breanna plays AAU Basketball. Ms. Butler will be attending
Ms. Lakin Caudill is the daughter of Jason and Angie Caudill. Her school activities are National Honor Society, High Q, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Volleyball, and Science Club. Lakin plays AAU Basketball and is a member of the Liberty Baptist Youth Group. Ms. Caudill plans to attend
Mr. Dirk Dempsey is the son of Daryl and Sherry Dempsey. His school activities include Oak Hill FFA, National Honor Society, Journalism, Cross Country, Science Club, and High-Q. Dirk is also on the Jackson County Junior Fair Board, Medallions 4-H Club, and Junior Representative Livestock Committee. Mr. Dempsey plans on attending The Ohio State University this fall to major in Animal Science and Agricultural Education.
Ms. Taylor Hale is the daughter of Doug and Linda Hale. Her school activities include National Honor Society, Science Club, Varsity Basketball, Newspaper Club, Yearbook Staff, and High Q. Taylor is also part of the Rio Grande Honor Society and a member at
Ms. Jessica Taylor is the daughter of Sean and Carla Taylor. Her school activities include National Honor Society, Science Club, FFA, Hi-Q, and Varsity Volleyball. Jessica is also involved in 4-H and is on the Jackson County Fair Queen’s court. Ms. Taylor will be attending The Ohio State University as a pre-med student.
Ms. Heather Wells is the daughter of Rick and Sherri Wells. Her school activities include National Honor Society, FFA, Science Club, Newspaper Staff, and Varsity Volleyball. Heather also is on Junior Fair Board, a junior leader in 4-H, a member of 4-H Hayseeds’ Club, Path Finders Youth Group, 4-H Counselor, and Christ Only Ministry. Ms. Wells will be attending
Ms. Rachael Arrowood is the daughter of John and Charlene Arrowood. Her school activities include FFA, National Honor Society, Science Club, Spanish Club, and High Q. Rachael is also part of the Momentum 360 Youth Gap. Ms Arrowood plans to attend
